Two firms. One new identity.
When Levy Architects and Dykema merged to form Levy Dykema, the new firm needed a cohesive visual presence that reflected both its established architectural expertise and its forward-looking approach to design.
Our work began with a video announcing the merger and evolved into an ongoing effort to shape how the new Levy Dykema brand appeared across digital, print, environmental and editorial experiences.
Role: Lead Visual Designer / Art Director

A visual language inspired by the studio itself.
Following the merger, we developed a flexible visual direction that could unify Levy Dykema's growing communications.
A signature blue palette became the foundation, paired with a subtle line pattern inspired by artwork within the firm's studio. The resulting system balanced architectural precision with a more expressive visual quality — helping the brand feel sophisticated, contemporary and distinctly Levy Dykema.
From identity to environment.
The visual system extended beyond traditional marketing materials into the firm's physical presence, creating branded moments that connected Levy Dykema's architecture, environment and communications.
Texas Contemporary
As the Levy Dykema brand evolved, I also developed the identity for Texas Contemporary, extending the firm's design sensibility into a distinct lifestyle-oriented brand. The identity centers around a custom TC monogram designed to translate across apparel, merchandise and a range of physical applications.
Designing the digital home of the brand.
The Levy Dykema website translated the evolving visual language into a flexible digital experience built around the firm's architecture.
The redesign prioritized imagery, simplified navigation and created a scalable structure for presenting projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, civic and other practice areas.
That last point is supported by the live site — the portfolio currently spans categories including retail, civic, multifamily/student housing, residential/ranches, office, restaurant, financial, hospitality, industrial, education and healthcare.
Communicating the work.
A flexible editorial system helped Levy Dykema tell the story behind its architecture across case studies, advertising and industry publications.
From architecture to publication.
Levy Dykema's work extended into international architectural publishing, including Architects of the Southwest. I developed the cover design and supporting editorial materials, translating the firm's architectural work into a tactile, collectible format.
Bringing architecture to life.
Through video, photography and social content, the visual system continued to evolve into a living expression of the firm's work, people and culture.
